What is this website?

Tiny.Kitchen located at https://tiny.kitchen/ is a food and lifestyle blog that is authored, photographed, and managed by Valerie Spencer and is doing business as a digital asset of Trynd LLC, an Oregon LLC.

This website may accept forms of payment from advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other types of compensation. I believe in honesty in my relationships, opinions, and identity. Sponsored content is clearly disclosed. Even though I may receive compensation, I will always give my honest opinion or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this website are purely my own. Any claim, statistic, quote, or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the party in question.

What personal information is collected?

Personal information collected may include your email address and/or name. This information is not required to gain access to this website. However, you may not be able to participate in leaving comments unless such information is provided.

If you are a visitor from outside the United States, the personal information you provide may be transferred to, stored, and processed within the United States, where Tiny.Kitchen maintains business operations.

How is your personal information used?

The personal information you provide Tiny.Kitchen will allow me to communicate with you. Your personal information will not be used to send you any irrelevant communications. Your information will not be shared or sold.

  • When leaving a question or comment: you will receive an email to confirm that your submission has been received. You may also receive a notification if I reply to your comment or question. Your email address will not be published on the site. Other readers can see your name, rating, and/or comments but cannot see your email address and cannot reply directly to you.
With whom may your personal information be shared?

Ideally, no one. I will never sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless I am required by law to do so. When using this website, you may be asked to provide information by which you can be identified. Be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Generally speaking, I go out of my way to turn off as much tracking software within my essential services that I can find to secure your privacy on your behalf.

I reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law or in special cases when I have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against you if you may be causing injury to or interference (intentionally or unintentionally) with Tiny.Kitchen’s rights or property. I also reserve the right to disclose your personal information if I have a good faith belief that it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities.

As with any business, your personal information is an asset of Trynd and will become part of my normal business records. As such, I may disclose your personal information to a third party if I decide to sell this line of business to that third party. The intent would be so you can continue to receive service and information in connection with that line of business with as little disruption as possible. Similarly, in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar event, your personal information may be transferred to Trynd’s successor or assign. You will be made aware of any such transactions 30 days prior, at which point you can choose to have your personal information removed from my records.

What about children?

I do not knowingly collect or store any personally identifiable information from children under 13. If parents believe that I have unintentionally collected their child’s personal information, they may request the deletion of the information by contacting me at hello@tiny.kitchen.

Residual copies of content and/or information that have been deleted may remain on my backup servers. I are not required to remove posted content or information if it has been rendered anonymous or if I am required by law to retain it. Additionally, I do not have control over third parties (e.g., other users) who may have copied or re-posted the content or information.

What are tracking technologies and how are they used?

As is true with most websites, I gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include a unique identifier such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and non-personal information such as your browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. I may combine this automatically collected log information with other information I collect about you. I do this to improve the services I offer you, marketing, analytics, or website functionality.

I also go out of my way to carefully select advertisers and vendors that have services and products that I support and fully endorse. I am more interested in providing an enjoyable experience here at Tiny.Kitchen than I am in making change off of your impressions.
